Site location

The proposed Wind Farm would occupy an area of land that forms part of the former Asfordby mine. The land is owned by our partners UK COAL, who have developed the business park that shares part of the site, providing accommodation for around 30 businesses and employing over 200 people.

The site is located to the north of the village of Asfordby, to the south of Ab Kettleby, east of Saxelbye and north-west of Melton Mowbray.
