Environmental Impact Assessment

An Environmental Impact Assessment is being undertaken in accordance with government regulations and the findings collated into an Environmental Statement. This will form part of the planning application to Northumberland County Council and be an essential part of the determination process. Statutory consultees, such as Natural England and the Environment Agency, will also consider the application and provide a formal response.
The assessment has included consideration of the following topics:
- Landscape and visual
- Noise
- Ecology and ornithology
- Aviation
- Shadow flicker
- Archaeology and cultural heritage
