Landscape Consultants have followed best-practice guidance to assess the potential effect of the proposed wind farm on the character of the landscape, and to consider how the turbines would appear from various viewpoints.
The assessment has used site surveys, Ordnance Survey mapping, photography and computer-generated images to understand and illustrate how the landscape and views would change if the wind farm was to be built.
A total of 21 representative viewpoints have been agreed with Northumberland County Council. These will be included in the environmental statement. A selection are provided below.
