Noise

Acoustic consultants have completed a noise assessment to determine whether the proposed scheme falls within the relevant noise regulations. The assessment shows that the relevant noise limits are not exceeded in all cases, day or night, under all conditions of operation.
Noise contour map
The map shows noise contours of typical turbines which could be installed at the site. The predicted noise levels are calculated assuming downwind propagation from all turbines simultaneously, for the wind speeds at which the turbines generate the highest noise emissions.
