Although the energy output of the wind farm will depend on factors such as the strength and frequency of the wind, it is anticipated that sufficient power will be generated to provide electricity for 4500 homes a year on average.

The proposed development also has the potential to supply the Derwent Forest proposal with at least a proportion of its renewable energy requirements, should that development come to fruition.
