A total of 25 representative viewpoints within the ZTV have been agreed with the council for assessing the impact of the wind farm. Photomontage images of how the wind farm would look from each of the 25 viewpoints are included in volume 2 of the Environmental Statement accompanying the planning application.
Five additional photomontages have been provided to show the potential cumulative impact with other consented developments.
Several people are concerned that the photomontage images we use are misleading and do not represent the scale of development. These images are prepared in accordance with the methods required as part of the environmental statement accompanying the planning application.
The images are wide landscape images because of the nature of the development. They have to be presented in a certain way with supporting information to enable the experts to assess the potential landscape and visual impacts of the wind farm.
