The planning application
|
There is now a live planning application for Frodsham Wind Farm. The application has been advertised in national newspapers for two consecutive weeks. It appeared in the London Gazette on 25 February and 4 March, and in The Times on 25 February.
There is a 28-day period during which you can give the Department of the Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and the council your opinion about the scheme. Other statutory bodies such as Natural England, the Environment Agency, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Defence will have the opportunity to formally comment.
The council, unlike other organisations, has four months to come to a view to present to the Secretary of State at DECC. The council’s stance on our scheme will be determined at a meeting of the Strategic Planning Committee.
