Our wind portfolio is in excess of 450MW and includes Scout Moor – the country’s largest scheme, which features twenty-six 2.5MW turbines, generating a combined 65MW.
We are exploring tidal opportunities in the Mersey estuary – a scheme that, if approved, could supply enough energy for 260,000 homes in Merseyside. We have also identified sites for several biomass plants, which represent opportunities for facilities with a maximum output of 300MW each.
A recent partnership with DONG Energy has outlined our commitment to carbon capture on a commercial scale and represents exciting opportunities for the future.
